Soltech, a leading luxury plant grow lighting eCommerce brand, successfully updated their messaging to align with the mindsets MindCart AI identified and saw a triple digit increase in revenue.
Soltech Solutions wanted to update copy (visual and textual messaging) to align with the preferences of different groups of customers. They needed help identifying the mindsets of these segments.
The first experiment we did with MindCart AI was to pinpoint consumer attitudes towards indoor light to grow plants.
The three mindset’s identified were:
- Heritage Focused
Pennsylvania founded, owners met in college, handcrafted in America, supports American manufacturing, plant a tree for every light sold, mission is to illuminate homes through joy of plants.
- Product/Technology Focused
The light spectrum used, warranty, materials in construction, timer feature.
- Benefit Focused
Bring nature indoors, transform dark spaces, easy to set up, quick to get started, fast installation, grow any plant, instagram-mable “urban jungle”, impress with interior design.
The second experiment took the segments of consumers discovered and tested messages to see if they resonated. A series of studies fine-tuned the messaging into high performing headlines and descriptions for website copy.
Mindset #3, Benefit Focused was used to curate the images show in the 2×4 grid embedded from Instagram and the copy around it.
The results were a huge success.

The month stretch around the Christmas holiday to the end of January 2021 compared to the same stretch a year before saw:
- 600%+ Revenue Growth (nearly $200k vs approx $25k)
- 2.65x Growth in Conversion Rate (2.20% vs 0.83%)
- Lower Bounce Rate and Higher Pages Per Session Viewed
